A few years before adult colouring books became all the rage, Baile Mor Books designed and illustrated a colouring book based on and around the Isle of Iona. Toben had so much fun making (and subsequently colouring in) that book, we next produced one of the Hebrides. The range has now grown to include four colouring books, with more in the works.
All of the books can be purchased on our Etsy shop, where you will also find further images from each book. Wholesale orders are also available, please contact us direct for details or visit our Shop page to download our full product catalogue.
Isle of Iona colouring book
Our first foray into colouring book illustration and it remains a favourite. This is a 24 page, saddle stitched A5 colouring book featuring wildlife, natural and historical landmarks from where Baile Mor Books is based, on the Hebridean island of Iona. Includes Iona Abbey, the parish church and Maclean’s cross, a highland cow, lamb, the north end, ferry, Bishop’s House, St. John’s cross, and more.
Hebrides colouring book
Following on from the success of the Iona colouring book, we expanded our geographic area to cover the whole of the Hebrides. A 48 page, A4 saddle stitched colouring book featuring views from all over the islands. Including Lews Castle, highland cows, Scolpaig Tower, boats, Iona Abbey, Kisimul Castle on Barra, a croft house, Staffa, Skye Bridge and more… even a VW campervan on the beach!
Nick’s Buddha colouring book
This book was inspired by the Buddha collection of Sarah’s father, so it felt only right to name the book in his honour. A 16 page, saddle-stitched A5 colouring book featuring Buddha illustrations from different cultures and eras.
Colouring Book for an Art Lover
The most recent book in the Baile Mor collection, this book is inspired by the works of renowned Glasgow architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. A must-have for fans of art nouveau and the arts and crafts movement. 24 pages in an A5 booklet.
