Event Location:
Iona Village Hall - side door
Join in an afternoon bookbinding taster session. Learn how to make your own book and leave with new skills, a book or two, and hopefully a hankering to do more. More information can be found on the Workshops page.
No experience necessary, all tools and materials are provided.

Workshops are held from Easter to mid-October, starting at 14.00 and lasting for about 2 hours. Every class is a standalone event, so there is no need to have attended previous weeks. These intro sessions are geared toward those with little to no experience, but you are most welcome even if you’ve done some bookbinding before.
Class sizes are kept small to ensure each person can be given individual attention.
Each participant will leave the session with a book that they have created themselves – and hopefully a greater appreciation for the craft of bookbinding, and maybe even the start of a new hobby / obsession.
