A fun marriage of iconic Scottish heilan coos (or highland cows if you prefer) and bright colours, with a wee hidden dash of the beautiful Hebridean Isle of Iona. The pastedowns are upcycled photos from an Iona calendar: the beach at the very tip of the North End at the front, and sunrise from Dun I at the back. And all sewn together with a variegated rainbow hemp thread along the spine.
This book is roughly A6 in size and is filled up with Flat White paper. Flat White paper is 100% recycled, 50% of that is recycled paper and the other 50% is recycled coffee cups. Hence the name! It’s thick and smooth, perfect for artists and delightfully luxe for writers.
This book is bound with exposed spine binding so it lays open flat. No annoying cramped writing or sketching into the gutter with this book.
Each book I make is hand cut, punched, and stitched, resulting in a one of a kind piece, and ships with a small card with more information about the binding.
