Description
A basic kit of hand tools for beginning bookbinders. If you’ve come along to one of the workshops here on Iona, you’ll recognise all of these tools as the same ones we used during the class.
The kits contain an awl, thread snips, three bookbinding needles, 10m of beeswax coated linen thread, a non-skid steel ruler, and a bamboo folder. It also contains enough blank and decorative paper to make an A6 notebook, along with instructions to help you do so. Everything you need to make books at home!
Please note the colour of items and decorative paper in each kit will vary. The finished books shown are examples of what you could create and are not included.
Refills for the kit are also available.
