Come and visit the beautiful and historic Isle of Iona, and learn to make your own book while here.

Together we’ll go through each step of creating a stylish and durable book. We’ll choose our papers, sew book blocks, line spines, and make the covers. You’ll leave with a book entirely of your own creation.

The sewn boards binding is an excellent starter book for beginners as well as those with some experience under their belts. It’s decidedly modern in construction but with a nod to classical bindings in it’s aesthetics.

Fee includes lunch, refreshments, all materials, and use of the necessary tools for the day. All you have to bring is yourself and your curiosity.
