I have a strong fondness for the beautiful printed papers made by Cambridge Imprint. I also have a strong fondness for limp paper bindings – they have a lovely soft sort feel in the hand, very flexible and malleable. When I sat down to make a small set of paper bindings, I wasn’t surprised that these were the papers that jumped out at me immediately. And even less surprised that half of theme are Peggy Angus designs.

The interior of all of the books is GF Smith Sketch Natural, a 100% recycled paper with subtle fibre inclusions. Quite nice to write or sketch on.

Six books are available in three different sizes, all just about right to slide into a pocket:

• sprig pea green (10.5cm x 8.5cm)
• small damask by Peggy Angus (10.5cm x 8.5cm)
• ivy piccalilli and cranberry (12cm x 8cm)
• dancing hare violet (12.5cm x 9cm)
• birds and grapes by Peggy Angus (17cm x 8cm)
• patterned paper oak leaves by Peggy Angus (17cm x 8cm)
